Amazing place. Pies are so fresh and so cheap, ranging from $2.00-$3.75. We got the cheese (with zataar) and meat and cheese. The meat and cheese is on a thin crust. The cheese pie however is on a thicker bread that's heavenly soft and aromatic. Grab them one at a time. They're wonderful when warm.

Don't expect much from the place itself. There's no decor, a few tables and chairs. This place is really about the pie.

Went in on Saturday morning to get some fresh bakery items like bread or crossaint.  This place is specifically for middle eastern bakery items.
I was open to try what was available.  However, the owner was not very open to try to help me understand the menu and the items that were available.

I'm actually surprised this place only has one review considering the amount of people I always see here lining up. This little place makes some of the best manaeesh/pies ever! These aren't your sweet pies stuffed with fruits. No, they are basically like mini Lebanese pizzas with seasoned ground beef and tomatoes or za'atar or their specialty cheeses. Those are just a few of their toppings to choose from and I can tell you that they're all delicious. The dough is very good too!

I've gone to other places in the city who make these manaeesh as well, but the ones here are so fresh and yummy. You can actually see the whole family preparing the pies in the back and then see them baking right in front of you in their big oven as you wait. The prices are ridiculous! 2-3$ for one those pies in my opinion is a steal! Good thing I don't live in Ottawa or else I would eat these all day everyday. I see people lining up and buying tons of these at a time, up to 100$ sometimes. So, if this doesn't tell you it's good...you must be a judge and come try some for yourself!

Very tasty. I got the meat and meat and cheese Lebanese pies and they were delicious. I liked the meat and cheese one more than the meat one but both were good. Nice and thin crust with bits of really nicely flavoured meat. My coworker got one of the vegetable pies and that looked pretty tasty and saucy, so I would like to try that one if I ever come back nice. Nice family restaurant.

I stopped by recently for some meat pies.  The meat pies are $2.00 each (tax included).  The place is very similar to The Lebanese Village Bakery or The Mediterranean Bakery (both on Alta Vista) in terms of "decor" and set up.

The meat pies were good, although I found them a little too "juicy" and "wet" for me (sounds obscene, sorry, but I don't know any other way to describe it).  And I didn't even ask for any lemon juice, just spice.  I personally like my meat pies a little drier.  The meat was flavourful and not sour (like at Yalla Yalla).  It didn't have the smokey taste that I like though (like at Aladdin's).

The guy serving me the meat pies was very nice.  Also I saw him washing his hands before preparing my meat pies (bonus points for good hand hygiene!).

If you are in the area and craving some meat pies, check out Prince Ali's.  It's in the same strip mall as Aiyara.  Lots of free parking.
